A holiday to the Gold Coast went down very well! 6 nights in a STUNNING apartment (twas party central) left me more tired when i got back than before i left!
Saturday night was the pinnacle of the trip- after cracking open 1st beers at 9:54am after a good surf, the planned pubcrawl commenced at 5pm. Fair to say was already well on my way at that stage, and after dancing away in a darkened club like it was 3am, leaving for the next club at 6pm was a bit of a shock as there was still daylight outside!! HAHA i knew then it was gonna be a great night!
Finished off at The Bedroom- whoever thought to put hot beds in a club arranged around the dancefloor is a genius! The night ended with me finding a little frenchman with a guitar, stealing it off him and busking wonderwall with a crowd of about 10 other similarly drunken people singing along! We all then proceeded to run into the ocean in our underwear. HAHAHAHAHA. Ill remember that night forever! The definition of quality!
Other than that just been working flat out- the money has started to come in with the 3 jobs now :) finally paid off all debts and so actually starting to see some of this money!
Future plans have changed somewhat after Shaun wrote his car off. The poor bugger, always crashing the shit out of his cars. glad he wasnt hurt though!
So its off to Mount Hotham when the lease at the house finishes in May- hopefully to be a snowboarding instructor, but if i dont get that im more than happy to do a shitkicker job like a liftie or something. Just really need to get away! And am quietly confident ill get the job anyway- my experience in teaching groups (and being a professional in body movement) i dont see why i wouldnt..... Shall be great fun. Then once winters done Ill head off to canada YAY!
Oh and HOLY SHIT! Last night working away on the laptop sitting on the couch upstairs- the whole bloody house starts shaking and im thinking geez thats a big gust of wind! But it just kept going and going and i realised EARTHQUAKE!! lasted a good 10 seconds- 4.6 on the richter scale! Brilliant fun- well, for me at least. never surfed a couch like that before :D
